Concrete Repair & Resurfacing

The step most companies skip. Cracks, spalling, pitting, and failed old coatings fixed properly before anything new goes down.

A coating is only as good as what sits underneath it. Most coating failures we get called out to fix are not coating failures at all — they are prep failures. We diamond-grind every slab to profile, cut and fill every crack, rebuild spalled edges, and patch pitting before the first coat is mixed.

What you get

  • Diamond grinding to CSP-2/3 profile — never acid etching
  • Cracks chased, cut, and filled with structural polyurea
  • Spalled edges and control joints rebuilt to grade
  • Failed epoxy from a previous installer fully removed
  • Moisture testing before we commit to a system

What it costs

Repair is usually bundled into the coating quote. Standalone repair work is quoted after an on-site look.

Every estimate is free, on site, and written down before anything is scheduled. We measure the slab, moisture-test it where it matters, and tell you what the concrete actually needs — including when the honest answer is that it needs repair before it needs a coating.

Our Process

How a one-day install actually works

No mystery and no shortcuts. Prep is where a coating is won or lost, and it is the step most companies rush.

  1. 01

    Free On-Site Estimate

We come out, measure the slab, moisture-test it, and look at what is actually going on with the concrete. You get a written, itemized price on the spot. No pressure, no "today only" pricing.

  2. 02

    Diamond Grinding & Repair

Every square foot gets mechanically ground to a CSP-2/3 profile with dust-collected diamond equipment. Cracks are cut and filled, spalls rebuilt, and any failed coating comes off. We never acid etch.

  3. 03

    Basecoat & Flake Broadcast

Pigmented polyurea basecoat goes down and vinyl flake is broadcast to refusal while it is wet. Once it sets, we scrape and vacuum the surface back to a smooth, even plane.

  4. 04

    Polyaspartic Topcoat

Two clear polyaspartic topcoats lock everything in, with grip additive dialed to how you use the space. Walk on it that evening. Park on it the next day.

FAQ

Concrete Repair & Resurfacing: common questions

What about the cracks in my concrete?

Cracks get chased out with a crack chaser, vacuumed clean, and filled with a structural polyurea that cures harder than the surrounding concrete. Spalled edges and control joints are rebuilt to grade. Fair warning: if a slab is actively moving, a coating will not stop that, and we will tell you straight if that is what we are looking at.

I already have a coating that is failing. Can you go over it?

We will not coat over a failing system — that just buys you a nicer-looking failure. Old coating gets mechanically removed down to sound concrete, then the slab is re-profiled and repaired. Removal is priced into the quote so there are no surprises.

How do you prep the concrete?

Mechanically, always. Every slab is diamond ground with dust-collected equipment to a CSP-2/3 profile, which opens the pores so the coating can key into the concrete. We do not acid etch. Acid etching is faster and cheaper and it is the reason most bargain coatings peel within a couple of years.
